About the clinic
Karanfil Veterinary Clinic provides veterinary care for cats and dogs in Batıkent, Ankara. Examinations, vaccination, internal medicine, surgery, inpatient care and the follow up of older animals are the clinic’s main areas of work.
How we work
A consultation begins with what the owner tells us and continues with a physical examination. We explain why a test is being requested, what the result means and what the options are, in plain language. The decision is taken together. Handling is kept gentle so the animal is as little frightened as possible, and cats are kept away from the sound of dogs.
Our name
Karanfil is the Turkish word for the carnation, a hardy flower with layered petals that tolerates cold and stays alive long after cutting. The clinic takes its name and its mark from it.
